Temporary website disruption – DDOS attack
September 23, 2011. Trader’s Way, a prime on-line FOREX and CFD broker, apologizes for the temporary website functioning interruption on September 22, 2011, caused by a DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack.
Following the company’s rapid development and popularity growth, Trader’s Way has experienced a massive DDOS attack on September 22, 2011. Due to prompt reaction and highly efficient protection system the functionality of the website was quickly restored. None the less, customers in some regions could have experienced some problems with viewing the web-site today.
By now the operational capacity has been fully restored. Trading and mail servers were not influenced by the attack and functioned properly.
Trader’s Way apologizes for any inconvenience in connection with the DDOS attack.
